Geography at Swanwick Primary 

At Swanwick Primary School, we hope to establish a sense of belonging for every child. The setting, community and surrounding areas are really important to us as a school.

A sense of place begins at our school where children learn to navigate the school site, engaging in orienteering activities and mapping tasks. Following this, children then learn about the places they live and the community our school sits within. Finally, we teach the magic of travel through our exciting topics. Theme days are organised to immerse the children in experiences that they will remember and that will kick start our new learning.
