Swanwick Primary School
Together we achieve

Year 5 children, dressed as World War II evacuees, walked down the hill to Butterley Station, much to the surprise of Swanwick residents. The 'evacuation' went smoothly and gave the children an idea of what it might really have been like to have been evacuated. Being on the train reminded children of the work they  had done following a visit to the Holocaust centre in Nottingham where they learned about the Kindertransport which had saved the lives of many Jewish children.
