The curriculum aims of the school are to provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to all pupils, acknowledging the individual needs of each. Underpinning the whole curriculum is our concern to promote the spiritual, moral and cultural development of each of our children.
We have created our new curriculum in line with the New National Curriculum (2014). This is based on a creative, enquiry-based approach led by the pupils, promoting independent learning skills and enthusiasm for learning. The pupil premium is a source of funding made available to schools by the Governement. This is targeted funding to be used to provide for disadvantaged pupils. At Swanwick Primary School, we believe that all children should be supported to reach their full potential and are committed to spending all our resources to achieving this aim.
